C.V stands for “Curriculum vitae” it is a Latin word that exactly means "the course of life". Your Curriculum Vitae is a best way to reveal all-important information, skills, achievements, rewards, and anything that differentiate you from others. It is your first opportunity to build an excellent impression on the employer. Curriculum Vitae are your job seeker's business card that requires making sure that the recruiter would like to meet you. It does not matter what kind of a profession, or in which industry he or she applying for, they will just require a CV in the procedure of the application.

When writing a “Curriculum Vitae”, it is necessary to keep one thing in mind that a recruiter does not read CVs, most of the time they scan them for those characteristics that match the profile they are looking for. According to a research, it has revealed that a recruiter takes at least three to four minutes on average to evaluate a letter and CV. Therefore, it is important for an individual to make sure that their letter and CV are good enough to convince them in those few minutes.

It also allows us to talk a little bit regarding our personal interests, and activities but this is merely a very little part of a CV. There are some guidelines and tips that must be consider while making a C.V:

·         He or she must provide reliable, understandable, concise and logical information.

·         Never lie in your CV, because the truth all the time comes out.

·         Draw up an easily understood and visually attractive document.

·         Try to minimize the error of spelling mistakes and sentence structure.

·         Always try to use different colors and different fonts that are acceptable, but make sure that it is understandable.

·         He or she might be included his or her photo in their CV, but they are not an absolute requirement.
