HIGH-SPEED STEELS:
It is a tungsten type of super high-speed steel that
contains vanadium and cobalt. The approximate percentage of molybdenum in the group
M high-speed tool steels is 3.5 to 9.9%. It has a good combination of toughness
and red-hardness. The high content of vanadium provides excellent abrasion and
wear resistance. The cobalt content in this grade provides very high resistance
to softening at high temperatures (red-hardness). They widely used in cutting
tools such as drills, reamers, saw blades, end mills, milling cutters, taps,
